held four times a year.

Now is the time
for all to renew their membership in the Nunda Chamber of Commerce.
Kindly go to our
membership application,
fill it out and send it in by February 1, 2012. You can submit changes/updates
to your listing on our website and in our phone
directory by emailing an updated photo and/or description of your business
to cindywelch@frontiernet.net.
2011 was a banner year for the Nunda Chamber of Commerce. We have successfully
worked toward marketing our area. We have placed advertisements in both
Letchworth Guides and Country Register will expand our marketing in other
publications for our area, welcoming all to come and visit Nunda -
the Hidden Treasure of Livingston County.
We have much to offer with small home town businesses willing to give
old fashioned country service. Our area has two golf courses, two bed
and breakfasts, a bowing alley, two lumber yards/hardware stores and many
places to eat and shop within our Nunda/ Portageville Area.
Our website has been completely redone and is visitor friendly with a
printable phone directory and a complete listing of all business members
with links to their websites and photos of each business.
Springtime in Nunda, Fall in Nunda and Christmas in Nunda are still our
focus events. We sponsored the Village Wide Yard Sale.
We have had representatives attend our school open house as well as lecturing
at school classes on the importance of the Nunda Chamber of Commerce.
Through our Yahoo Group we have forwarded opportunities for our business
members to be more active in events outside our area. Education is key
in the marketing of your business. We all need to stay ahead of the changing
economic atmosphere to keep our businesses healthy.
Our President has attended many lectures on marketing and has shared this
with the Chamber members.
2012 we will market Nunda Chamber in the Livingston County brochure, both
Letchworth Guides and various other publications.
We are looking forward to a prosperous 2012 in the Nunda/Portageville
Area and welcome all to join or renew your memberships.
